You know something needs to change.
The question now is who should do it, how it should be done, and how you make sure the solution actually solves the problemit was meant to solve.
Discuss Implementation
A strategy can be sound.
A supplier can be capable.
A team can have good intentions.
A system, process, website, automation or other solution may need to be created.
The business may need a specialist, supplier or capability it does not currently have.
Several people may need to contribute to the same outcome.
You may want someone to stay close to the work and make sure the original requirement does not get lost during implementation.
Your internal team may ultimately need to own what has been created, with the right understanding and responsibility around it.
Part of implementation is deciding where the work should sit.
If the capability already exists internally, we identify who should own it and what they need to succeed.
Sometimes the missing piece is a person or capability the business needs permanently.
Where specialist expertise is required, I can help identify and assess suitable providers.
Where the work falls within services my implementation business provides, I can oversee the team responsible for delivering it.

My role is not to become the person doing every task.
I stay close enough to the project to make sure the people doingthe work understand what is required, why it matters and whatthe result needs to accomplish.
I ask questions. I check progress. I identify where somethingis drifting.
And where necessary, I bring the conversation back to theproblem we were supposed to solve.

What are we actually trying to accomplish?
What needs to happen, who needs to be involved and what does success look like?
Internal team, new hire, specialist, implementation team — or a combination.
The people responsible for delivery do the work.
We check progress against the original requirement and deal with problems as they arise.
Where appropriate, the completed solution moves into the business with clear ownership.
A website implementation is not the same project as restructuringa workflow, sourcing a specialist or overseeing a multi-party implementation.
We first understand what needs to happen.
What needs doing.
Who needs to be involved.
What my role should be.
What it will cost.
You know what needs to happen, but nobody owns it.
A project keeps moving without actually getting finished.
You need a capability the business does not currently have.
You have suppliers involved but need someone protecting the original requirement.
Something needs to be built, but you are not sure who should build it.
The solution exists on paper but has not made it into the business.
You and your team know what needs to happen and are responsiblefor moving it forward. You want me alongside you each week toreview progress, solve problems and adjust where necessary.
